Below are detailed instructions to complete registration.

Athletes MUST have an up to date sports physical prior to participating in practices and competitions.If a student does not have a physical on file, they are ineligible to participate in practices or competitions. Students without a sports physical are still required to attend practices and competitions if they intend to participate. Ineligible students will travel with the team unless space is limited.

Sports physicals are different from "regular physicals" - Please be aware of this when making appointments. Providers in the area have sports physical forms of their own available.

• Once completed, turn in a copy of your completed MSHSL Sports Physical form to the office.
• Completed sports physicals are valid for 3 years.

• If your student already has a sports physical, send a copy to the Activities Director or brought into the middle school office.

Payments can be made  in the middle school office, or on your campus parent portal via the school store.

Do not turn in cash/check payments to coaches - payments should be made in the office, or online. 
Unpaid students can participate in practice, but not in competitions until their fee is paid.        
 

Coaches will communicate important information with parents and players via the "Remind" app. This is also the best way to contact coaches directly. 

To join your sport or activity's group, first, download the app. Next, visit the desired sport or activity's webpage and click on the "Remind Messaging" tab. Here you will see the class name and code.

Next, go into the Remind app, use the dropdown menu in the upper left hand corner to select "Add Class". Finally, click, "Join existing class", and enter the class code (exlude the @ symbol).

The handbook contains various policies, procedures, and additional information regarding participation in Willmar Middle School Activities. With your student, review, sign, and turn the handbook in to the office or the Activities Director. The handbook must be signed and turned in for your student to be elligible for participation.
